As a Professional Staff Nurse (RN), you’ll care for mothers and babies, help guide quality nursing care, and work side by side with patients, families, and a supportive care team every day.

  • Quality & Improvement: Engages in quality improvement initiatives, uses evidence-based practice, and takes personal responsibility for improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Experience & Education: 1+ years of RN experience. Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and applies age-specific care principles.
  • Patient-Centered Skills: Provides safe, high-quality care while establishing positive, caring relationships with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Uses critical thinking and clinical judgment to assess, plan, and deliver care.
  • Professional Skills: Able to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and use specialized equipment. Strong mobility, visual/manual dexterity, and physical stamina for walking, standing, and patient handling.
  • Licensure & Certifications:
    • Registered Nurse (RN)
    • CPR/BLS certification (AHA standards) within 30 days of hire
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
    • Act 31, 33, 34, 73 clearances
